Cruise ports, Turkey's gateway to the world in tourism, started to move with the arrival of the season. The two giant ships, MSC Splendida and MS Europa2, moored in Istanbul Galataport, resemble floating cities with their dimensions. Viewed from the air, the giant ships appear to be higher than many apartments in the same square. MSC Splendida, which is 333 meters long, 33 meters wide and 66 meters high, has a capacity of 3,900 passengers and 1,300 crew members serve on the giant ship. MS Europa2 is 225 meters long, 26 meters high and 30 meters wide. Many social activities can be found on the giant ships with cinemas, theater halls, different restaurants, swimming pools and tennis courts. On the other hand, MSC Splendida, which will carry out active expeditions to Istanbul in the season of 2023 and in the autumn, will visit Istanbul 19 times with different programs until October 13.
