Tourists from Tajikistan visited the country at most with 1 million 151 thousand 400 people. Tajikistan is followed by Kyrgyzstan with 912 thousand 800 people, Kazakhstan with 879 thousand people, Russia with 417 thousand 400 people, Turkey with 58 thousand people, South Korea with 20 thousand 200 people, India with 20 thousand people, China with 17 thousand 700 people and Germany with 14 thousand 100 people.
It is aimed that the number of tourists coming to Uzbekistan this year, which was visited by 6 million 748 thousand tourists in 2019 before the Kovid-19 epidemic, will reach the pre-pandemic figures.
The number of tourists coming to the country in 2020 was approximately 1 million 500 thousand due to the Kovid-19 outbreak. In 2021, 1 million 800 thousand tourists visited Uzbekistan, and the number of tourists coming to the country in 2022 reached 5 million 200 thousand with an increase of 2.8 times compared to the previous year.
