The city wall, colonnaded road, bath, church, ancient theater, stadium, waterways, rock tombs, mosaics, the three-entry triumphal arch and the medieval castle, which is the only example in the Cilicia Region, in the Anavarza Ancient City in the Dilekkaya District of Kozan District. is located. The statues of Hygieia and Eros have been unearthed in the archaeological excavations that have been going on since 2013 in Anavarza, which is one of the frequent destinations of local and foreign tourists with its theatre, stadium and a colonnaded street with a length of 2,700 meters and a width of 34 meters, a fortification with a length of 1,500 meters and 20 bastions. The presence of a statue of Hygieia, which is estimated to be one of the six daughters of Asclepius, the god of health, in Anavarza, where the world-famous pharmacologist Dioskurides, who served in the Roman period and attracted attention with his medicines, also lived, makes the region attractive in terms of healthy tourism.
Built on 4,000 acres of land, Anavarza is known as the "Invincible City" because it won all the wars of that period. It is stated that with the completion of the excavations in Anavarza, a city 5 times the size of the Ancient City of Ephesus in İzmir will come to light again.
