Registrations have started for AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya powered by AG Tohum 2023, the amateur road bike race that is eagerly awaited every year. The application process will end on April 24.

Registration has started for the amateur road bike race AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya powered by AG Tohum, which has been organized since 2018. This year's theme of the race, which will take place on Sunday, April 30, 2023, is "Pedals Turn for Good".

Amateur cyclists, who will come to Antalya Kemer from all over the world, will closely witness the sport and the unique natural beauties of Kemer throughout the race.

The race is organized with the contributions of Antalya Governorship, Kemer District Governorate, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Konyaaltı Municipality, Kemer Municipality, Antalya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Turkey Cycling Federation, Antalya Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO), while Corendon Airlines sponsored the AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya powered by AG Tohum race, many non-governmental organizations also provided support.

Bicycles purchased with registration income will be distributed to earthquake survivor children

Registration revenues from AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya powered by AG Tohum this year will be used for children affected by the earthquake that caused great destruction in 11 provinces. The bicycles, which will be purchased with the registration income, will be distributed to the earthquake victims in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Two unique race tracks are waiting for cyclists

Organized according to the regulations of the International Cycling Union-UCI and the Turkish Cycling Federation, the race, consisting of 2 tracks, is preparing to host amateur cyclists from many countries in Antalya Kemer. AKRA Track, which is the longest track of the race with a length of 98 kilometers, has a total climb of more than 2 thousand meters. The track, which will start from Kemer Olbia Park, will end at the same point after about 6 hours of hard work. The AG Tohum Track, which is another track of the race, consists of 48 kilometers. The track, where the racers will have a climb of more than 537 meters, will start from Kemer Olbia Park and end at the same point. The fascinating scenery of Antalya and Kemer will accompany all the athletes for miles.
