European Handball Federation (EHF) Executive Board decided to hold the 2023 European Beach Tour Finals (CEBT) in Beach Handball in Antalya Konyaaltı.
THE HEART OF BEACH HANDBALL WILL BEAT IN KONYAALTI
Konyaaltı Municipality. will host the European Beach Handball finals, one of the most important events for clubs in beach handball. The European Handball Federation (EHF) Executive Board, which accepted the candidacy application of the Turkish Handball Federation, decided that the 2023 European Beach Tour Finals in Beach Handball will be held in CEBT Antalya Konyaaltı. The EHF executive board had decided to organize the Beach Handball U17 European Championship in İzmir at its meeting in September.
One of the most important organizations in beach handball in terms of clubs and hosted by Konyaaltı Municipality, the organization will take place on 8-11 June. In the finals where 14 women's and 14 men's teams will compete, 2 teams from the host Turkey will compete.
KONYAALTI MUNICIPALITY TO HOST
Konyaaltı Mayor Semih Esen, who stated that as Konyaaltı Municipality, they have hosted international sports tournaments before and they are experienced in this field. We have a team that is fighting for Europe in the handball branch. Therefore, we are no strangers to this subject. I think it will be a very meaningful organization for our efforts to bring Konyaaltı to a better place in terms of sports tourism. He said, "We will host beach handball in a way that befits Antalya, just like the International Ultra Marathon and swimming races."
