Bolu registers as Turkey's coldest province tonight with minus 8.9 degrees Celsius according to meteorological parameters obtained from the Meteorology Observation Station. According to the information received, based on meteorological parameters obtained from the 1711 Automatic Meteorology Observation Station of the General Directorate of Meteorology, Bolu, with a temperature of minus 8.9 degrees Celsius, including its ski tourism center Kartalkaya, is recorded as Turkey's coldest province, just below freezing.
The snow depth at the ski resort was announced as 152 centimeters. While the temperature was measured at minus 8.9 degrees Celsius at Kartalkaya Ski Resort, Erzurum's Palandöken, and Eastern Anatolia Observatory followed closely in second place with minus 8.2 degrees Celsius. The third coldest place in Turkey was Göle district of Ardahan with minus 7.9 degrees Celsius.
