Tours began to be organized in Indjija, in the north of Serbia, with balloons brought from Cappadocia.
Turkey's Ambassador to Belgrade, Hami Aksoy, said in a statement to AA correspondent, "The balloons of Cappadocia fly over the skies of Serbia. The Indjija region, 1 hour away from Belgrade, will become the country's new tourism attraction center. Our pilots from Cappadocia fly the balloons and our country's cooperation with Serbia in the field of tourism is at its peak."
Aksoy stated that the increasing investments in the field of tourism will contribute to the improvement of relations between the two countries.
"Balloons are in Serbia after Turkey, Cyprus and UAE"
Company manager and flight instructor Murat Çoban said that they are proud to have balloons fly in Serbia after Turkey, TRNC and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Çoban also stated that the balloon pilots came from Turkey and they were happy to serve in a new country.
In the statement made by the Indjija Municipality Tourism Office, it was noted that they aim to fly 100 thousand people a year with 7 balloons brought from Cappadocia.
It has been announced that flights from Indjija, which is 1 hour away from Belgrade, will take place at 19:00 on weekdays and earlier on weekends.
