Codeshare agreement with THY and Icelandair

According to the statement made by Turkish Airlines (THY), the codeshare agreement was signed at the Annual General Meeting of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) held in Istanbul.

According to the statement made by Turkish Airlines (THY), the codeshare agreement was signed at the Annual General Meeting of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) held in Istanbul.

With the agreement, Icelandair passengers in North America and Iceland will be able to reach Istanbul with THY flights, and THY passengers from many parts of the world will be able to reach Iceland and Canada via the Icelandair network. Both airlines will offer their passengers comfortable transfer opportunities with a single ticket.

THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi, whose views are included in the statement, said, "We are very happy to sign a codeshare agreement with Icelandair. With this agreement, we aim to increase the travel options we offer to our passengers through our flight network, and we care about the satisfaction of our passengers. From a commercial point of view, we are confident that this partnership will provide significant benefits to both airlines."

Icelandair Chief Executive Bogi Nils Bogason said:
