Corendon Airlines Celebrates Its 19th Season

Operating direct flights from many European countries to dozens of popular holiday destinations such as Turkey, Spain and Greece, Corendon Airlines is celebrating its 19th season with its growing flight network.

Corendon Airlines made its first flight on April 12, 2005

Corendon Airlines, which has become a strong brand in Europe with its successful operations, managed to become one of the big competitors in the sector in a short time. The successful airline company made its first flight from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Amsterdam with the flight code CAI 855 on April 12, 2005 and became the first passenger plane to take off from the Sabiha Gökçen.

Today, we have become an international airline with flights to 165 airports in 65 countries.

Stating that almost 20 years have passed since their first flights, Corendon Airlines Founding Partner and Chairman of the Board Yıldıray Karaer shared a congratulatory message with Corendon Airlines personnel: “We made our first flight on April 12, 2005. Since that first flight with the Boeing 737-300, which took off with the TC-TJA tail code, we have become an international airline that flies to 165 airports in 65 countries and carries more than 7 million passengers a year to popular holiday destinations. In addition to all these, we have proudly represented our country in numerous organizations with sponsorships in many areas of life, from sports to music, to strengthen our brand image, and we continue to do so. I would like to thank all of our teammates who have always been with us in our nearly quarter-century-old story and worked like a family, and I wish our 19th season to be beneficial and auspicious for our company and our country.”

Corendon Airlines is now making a name for itself with its successful operations in the UK and Polish markets, after the success it achieved by being among the big competitors in the markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium.
