During the Kurban Bayram holiday, the museums at Kepez Municipality’s culture and art island, Dokuma Park in Antalya, were visited by 9,152 people. Dokuma Park’s museums, which include the Anatolian Toy Museum, the Once Upon a Time in Antalya Museum, the Anatolian Martyrs Museum, the Antalya Car Museum, and the Modern Arts Gallery, welcomed thousands of visitors during the Kurban Bayram holiday from June 18 to 23.
The Antalya Car Museum attracted the most visitors, with 4,790 people coming to see the nostalgic vehicles on display, appealing particularly to car enthusiasts. The Anatolian Toy Museum was the second most popular, with 1,641 visitors. This museum, which offers a nostalgic journey for visitors of all ages, features thousands of toys displayed across 15 rooms, each with a different theme and arrangement.
The Once Upon a Time in Antalya Museum, which sheds light on Antalya’s history with its exhibition areas, hosted 941 visitors. The museum features exhibits on the city’s main themes, including Nature, History, Archaeology, Tourism, Various Leaders, Celebrities, Families, Traditional Architecture, Kaleiçi (Old Town), Cuisine, Sea, Traditional Ceremonies (Weddings, Circumcisions, etc.), Migrations, Yörük Culture, Transportation and Communication, Press History, Photography, the Golden Orange Festival and other festivals, Education, Health, Art, Literature, Sports, Traditional Craftsmen, and Industry.
The Anatolian Martyrs Museum, which preserves the memories of martyrs, was visited by 1,100 people. The Martyrs Museum houses hundreds of historical objects under 25 different themes, 3 dioramas, and a recreated martyr’s house.
Dokuma Park Modern Arts Gallery, a key meeting point for art lovers, welcomed 680 art enthusiasts.
