Egypt, which adapted the all-inclusive concept from Turkey, has now set its sights on the German market and has taken action.
Egypt has lowered its tour prices, with Germans as their target.
It was stated that in June, both package tour and room prices across Europe saw a sudden increase.
According to data reported by the German business and tourism magazine fvw from Statista, package holiday prices in Europe in June increased by 7.9% compared to the same month of the previous year, while package holiday prices outside Europe rose by 5.2%.
The data also showed that prices for hotels and similar accommodation centers increased by 5.9%, and airline ticket prices by 1.3%.
In terms of package holiday price increases, Turkey ranked first with a 7.6% increase, followed by the Canary Islands with 6.7%, the Balearic Islands with 6.3%, and Greece with 4.5%. In Egypt, however, package holiday prices decreased by 2%.
