The first flight took place in four years from the Russian capital Moscow to the Georgian capital Tbilisi. The realization of the said flight followed the signing of the decree paving the way for flights to Georgia by Russian leader Putin.
Sputnik correspondent reported that the first flight to Tbilisi took place four years after Vnukovo Airport in Moscow.
It was stated that the flight, carried out by the Russian Azimut airline company, took place on time, without delay, with the completion of the transactions regarding the passengers.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree eight days ago on the resumption of flights between his country and Georgia.
Later, it is noted that Azimut airline has obtained the necessary flight permits from the aviation authorities of Georgia in order to operate Moscow-Tbilisi flights.
