Erkut Çelebi, the President of the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TTSO), stated that flights between Trabzon and Nicosia will start soon.
The Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TTSO) July meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Assembly President Şadan Eren and the Board Chairman Erkut Çelebi. In his opening speech, Assembly President Şadan Eren emphasized the importance of tourism for the city's economy.
Eren said, "Although we have not fully managed to eliminate exorbitant prices, our people have thoroughly understood the importance of tourism. We are discussing these issues particularly because tourism is intense during these months. The problems of the city and the sectors are voiced here. It is important that the functional meetings of the professional committees and the outcomes of these meetings are articulated here."
After İzmir, the next step is the TRNC
During the meeting, significant developments were shared regarding the opening of new flight routes to Trabzon. Board Chairman Erkut Çelebi mentioned that efforts are ongoing to establish flights to Tbilisi and added: "We are working on flights to Tbilisi. These flights will be used not only for health tourism but also for trade and tourism. Additionally, flights between İzmir and Trabzon have already started. Flights from Nicosia to Trabzon will also begin soon."
