The Association of Russian Tour Operators (ATOR) reported that package tours to Turkey for the upcoming dates are sold with 40 to 60 percent discounts. In its statement, ATOR emphasized that holiday costs have reached 30 thousand rubles (approximately 8300 TL) per person.
Pointing out that the decrease in tour prices started as of the end of August, ATOR said in its message; “Data from tour operators show that the cost of a one-week tour in an all-inclusive three-star hotel in Turkey in the coming days will cost 60 thousand rubles for two people, the discounts have decreased to 40 to 60 percent below the previous offers."
According to the news in GazetemRu, while tour operators state that the discounts are due to the traditional decrease in demand associated with the start of the academic year, this will be valid for all destinations preferred by tourists with children in the season.
While the experts warned that the decrease in tour prices to Turkey would not last long, he said that as of September, the demands will return to normal levels and special offers will disappear along with it.
According to ATOR, the starting prices of one-week tours to Turkey departing from Moscow in early September will be around 92.5-100 thousand rubles for two people. And from the middle of the month, the minimum prices for holidays in three-star hotels will in most cases rise to 108-115 thousand rubles for a weekly tour package for two.
