Green Passport Statement: 'No Expansion, We Cannot Compromise Trust'

Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) President Yusuf Hacısüleyman and the accompanying ATSO delegation visited Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. The businesspeople from Antalya conveyed their problems and proposed solutions to Minister Bolat, seeking resolutions. Suggestions were made, particularly regarding easing restrictions on credit card spending, reviewing the requirement to sell export revenues to the Central Bank of Turkey (TCMB), and addressing visa issues.

Regarding the demands concerning the green passport, Minister Bolat stated that, contrary to incorrect information spreading on social media, the scope of the green passport would not be expanded. Bolat said, 'To maintain the trust in the green passport system, no expansion will be made.'
