Gulf Mayor Şener Söğüt met with TÜRSAB President Firuz Barbaros Bağlıkaya. A road map was drawn for joint work to be carried out in the region, especially in Hereke Castle. Gulf Mayor Şener Söğüt, who met with President Firuz Barbaros Bağlıkaya at the Headquarters of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, gave information about Hereke Castle, which was restored and revived. Providing information about the historical and natural beauties in the region, apart from Hereke Castle, Mayor Söğüt said that they will continue to restore historical values with new restoration works.
Stating that Hereke has become a beautiful historical route, especially with the opening of Hereke Castle, the Kaieser Wilhelm Mansion and the Carpet Weaving Factory, Mayor Söğüt stated that it will become an attractive spot for tourists with the Carpet Museum and street improvements to be made in Hereke. TÜRSAB President Firuz Barbaros Bağlıkaya thanked Mayor Söğüt for his work, highlighting the historical and natural beauties of the region, and stated that he would be happy to contribute to regional tourism and carry out joint studies. TÜRSAB delegation will visit Hereke and the region next month and see the works on site.
