In Van, a 'Festival of Ashiks' was organized

The 'Festival of Ashiks' was organized by the Van Governorship, Van Metropolitan Municipality, and the Directorate of Culture and Tourism. The festival, held at the Van State Theater, began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. Following this, Ashiks Ahmet Poyrazoğlu, Temel Turabi, Selahattin Dündar, Bayram Denizoğlu, Mehmet Çağlari, Kazım Gülle, Muhlis Denizer, Rahim Sağlam, and Hüsamettin Ergül emotionally touched the audience with their folk songs.

The festival was attended by Van Governor and Deputy Mayor Dr. Ozan Balcı, Advisor to the Ministry of Interior Hatice Atan, Director of Culture and Tourism Abdurrahman Şahin, some public institution and organization officials, NGO presidents, and citizens.
