It was reported that there was a 26.9 percent increase in tourism revenue in Southern Cyprus in the first seven months of this year (January-July) compared to the same period last year.
Politis newspaper wrote that tourism revenues in all months of 2023 were more than tourism revenues in the relevant months of 2022, and noted that tourism revenues in the first 7 months of 2023 were calculated as 1 billion 544 million Euros, and tourism revenues in the January-July period of 2022 were calculated as 1 billion 217 million Euros.
Based on the statement made by the Department of Statistics, the newspaper added that tourism revenue, which was 381.7 million Euros in July 2022, increased by 19.1 percent to 454.6 million Euros in July 2023.
