Inspections were carried out in Pamukkale, Hierapolis, and the ancient city of Laodicea in Denizli, where the tourism season has just begun, with the aim of providing high-quality service to both local and foreign tourists.
The inspections in the regions of Pamukkale, Hierapolis, and the ancient city of Laodicea were conducted in cooperation with the Aydın Tourist Guides Chamber (ATRO) and the Tourist Guides Association (TUREB). During the inspections, two unlicensed guiding activities, one guide working in a language they were not certified for, and two guides acting against professional principles were identified, and penalties were imposed on those responsible.
Additionally, it was noted that inspections would continue throughout the year at different tourism centers every day in the regions of Pamukkale, Akköy, Karahayıt, Hierapolis, and the ancient city of Laodicea, where the tourism season has just started.
