According to the European Aviation Report covering 26 August-1 September, Istanbul Airport stood out as the airport with the busiest air traffic in Europe during this period. Istanbul Airport ranked first with an average of 1,494 flights per day. Antalya Airport ranked 8th in the list of the busiest airports in Europe with 1,028 daily flights.
