The blooming lavender fields continue to welcome their guests with their eye-catching purple and lilac colors.

Visitors from the country and abroad come to the city for the beautiful view offered by the lavender fields. The guests try to capture the most beautiful photo frame in front of the specially prepared decorations.

Visitors can reach all lavender fields open to tourism via the route created by the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism.

All counties have lavender fields

Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Ahmet Hacıoğlu said that lavender fields contribute to urban tourism.

Stating that 20 lavender fields in the city provide well-equipped service, Hacıoğlu said, "Lavender is planted on an area of 1250 decares in our city. 20 fields provide comprehensive service for domestic and foreign tourists. Special decorations were also created in these gardens to capture beautiful photo frames."

Hacıoğlu pointed out that there are lavender fields in all districts of the city and expressed that there is a great interest in these areas.

Stating that they continue to organize activities to raise awareness of lavender, Hacıoğlu said:

"We created a lavender route, similar to the vineyard route created before, by taking the opinion of the field owners. Instead of telling people 'go here, go there', they can reach the lavender field near them by entering the route themselves. "When you enter the Tekirdağ lavender route page, you can access all the fields open to visitors in the city. You can see everything from the distance of the field to people, to the equipment of lavender."
