With the warming weather, the tourism season has opened at Mount Nemrut and Nemrut Crater Lake, the world's second-largest crater lake. Known for its natural beauty, Mount Nemrut and Nemrut Crater Lake attract both domestic and foreign tourists, offering different stunning views each season. Nemrut Crater Lake, awarded the 'Excellence Award' within the framework of the European Destinations of Excellence (EDEN) project, delights visitors with its steam vents, and small and large lakes, each season presenting unique beauty. Located 20 kilometers from Bitlis's Tatvan district, the 1,250-meter high Nemrut Crater Lake has also recently gained attention for the bears living in the area.
İlhami Orhan, who brought his guests from Istanbul to Nemrut Crater Lake, said, "Nemrut is a natural wonder. It is a place to visit because it is entirely immersed in nature."
Ahmet Orhan, who saw Nemrut Crater Lake for the first time, said, "Nemrut has been talked about a lot, and today I had the chance to see it. We visited Nemrut, which is immersed in nature. It is indeed much more beautiful than described. We also decided to have a picnic while we are here."
