The first edition of the Turkey Winter Cycling Race Series kicked off with the participation of 158 cyclists. Emphasizing Antalya's role as a host not only in other sports but also in cycling, Governor Hulusi Şahin stated, 'This year, Antalya hosted over 3,500 cyclists for training camps. Antalya is also a major training center in football, and in recent times, we have made significant strides in golf tourism. I find all these events crucial for the promotion of Antalya. Additionally, under the leadership of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, significant efforts are being made. Two stages of the Presidential Cycling Tour were held in Antalya. We host both amateur and professional events. To extend Antalya tourism throughout the year, we will continue to organize such events. Our goal is to make Antalya the center of sports tourism,'" he said.
