As of today, flights to Izmir have started at Rize-Artvin Airport, which was opened in Rize on May 14, 2022 and offers direct flights only to Istanbul and Ankara.

The Pegasus Airlines plane, which took off from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 11:00 today, landed at Rize-Artvin Airport at 12:55. It was stated that there were no empty seats on the first Izmir flight.

The first flight from Rize to Izmir was made today at 13:30. The next Izmir flight to Rize Artvin Airport will be on Monday, September 25. The number of flights on the Izmir line will be increased in the coming weeks.
