Spanish photographer Isabel Munoz, known for her portraits of people and cultures from different geographies, will meet art lovers at Pera Museum with her "Göbeklitepe" exhibition.
Photographing Göbeklitepe and its surroundings at the invitation of the Pera Museum, Munoz will exhibit the photographs he took of the archaeological sites in the region.
The exhibition "Isabel Munoz: A New Story - Photographs from Göbeklitepe and Its Surroundings", curated by François Cheval, Director of Mougins Photography Center, who has signed many international projects in the field of photography, can be visited between June 15 and September 17.
Pera Museum will also host the international archeology seminar organized by the Spanish Embassy in Ankara and the Istanbul Cervantes Institute on the day the exhibition opens.
Isabel Munoz, whose work has been awarded many awards such as the Spanish National Photography Award and the Hasselblad Foundation International Photography Award, and who has participated in the exhibitions of important institutions such as the Venice Biennale and the New York International Photography Center, met art lovers in Turkey for the first time with her exhibition opened in Istanbul in 1992.
