Ryanair has predicted record annual profits and promised to pay investors a regular dividend for the first time.

Ryanair said it expected after-tax profits of between 1.85-2.05 billion euros for the year to the end of March, easily beating its previous record of 1.45 billion euros in 2018.

The company earned 2.18 billion euros in the first half of its financial year, April-September, 59% above last year's record.

In the statement made by the airline company, it was stated that traffic increased during this period, reaching 105 million passengers, and fares were 24% higher than last year.

Ryanair announced a dividend of 400 million euros, 200 million euros in February and 200 million euros in September.
