Due to the two-week mid-term holiday, there has been passenger congestion at Istanbul Airport starting from noon.
With the beginning of the mid-term holiday in schools, families looking to spend the holiday domestically and internationally started arriving at the airport from noon.
Passengers passed through the control points at terminal entrances, completing check-in and baggage procedures in both domestic and international terminals.
Expressing her plans to spend the mid-term holiday in Denizli with her family, Teacher Emel Şuözer said, "We are going to our hometown. I want to address my students here: Have a good rest during the holiday; the second term is waiting for you."
Ahmet Oğuz, who is heading to Adıyaman, stated, "Adıyaman is in an earthquake zone, and my family is affected by earthquakes. We will visit them. We are going to see my mother and father with the children.
