The price of winter holidays abroad in Russia is expected to increase by 10 to 30 percent this year. Speaking to the Izvestiya newspaper, the officials of the Russian Tour Industry Association said that the prices will increase from the October-November period.

According to the news of TürkRus, package tour prices will increase in destinations such as Egypt, Dubai, Thailand, Maldives and Cuba due to the depreciation of the ruble against the dollar and the euro. Union official Yuri Barzikin said that they expect winter holiday prices to increase by 15 percent in the country as well as abroad.

Prices for a two-person full-board holiday in a four-star hotel start at 195 thousand rubles in the United Arab Emirates, 196 thousand rubles in Egypt, 235 thousand rubles in Thailand and 300 thousand rubles in the Maldives ($ 3,100).

Speaking to Izvestiya, tour operators also announced the destinations with the most tour sales for the winter season. 39 percent of Fun&Sun customers preferred Turkey for their vacation.
