Experts: "In March, Russians are flying to the UAE, Thailand, and Bali for beach vacations."
According to OneTwoTrip's report, the most popular countries for beach vacations among Russians have been identified at the beginning of spring. Online service experts analyzed booking data and found that the most popular foreign destination is the UAE, especially Dubai. March is considered the high season there. The average cost of a room in a three-star hotel is around 4,600 rubles.
Phuket ranks second on the list. Currently, the high season is ending in Thailand, and there is increasing rainfall, with accommodation available for as low as two thousand rubles per day.
The first month of spring in Bali, Indonesia, is one of the driest and hottest months; the air and water temperatures hover around 30 degrees Celsius. Experts say there aren't too many tourists, so the cost of a room is approximately 1,800 rubles per night.
The list of popular destinations also includes holiday spots in Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the Maldives.
