The countries most preferred by Russians who will spend their holidays abroad in 2024 have already been determined.
Even though it is the early months of the year, many Russian citizens have already started making plans to spend their holidays in warm countries. According to the figures shared by the Russian Association of Tour Operators, hotel reservations and flight destinations so far are similar to those of 2023.
This year, the most preferred countries are determined to be Turkey, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt. However, the report also suggests that despite gaining popularity in recent years, Egypt may drop off the list due to its price-to-quality ratio.
In addition, despite the opening of different destinations in other Asian countries, Thailand is noted to dominate the Asian region due to its natural beauty, tours, and cost-effectiveness, which pleases Russian tourists.
