There was a double increase in passenger ships.   Last year, 17 thousand passengers came to Bodrum at the end of the first 6 months, while this number increased to over 30 thousand in this period. 45 flights a week land in Bodrum from abroad. After July 1, these numbers will increase. As a result of these figures, the UK currently maintains its leading position in terms of the number of tourists. 'THE SEASON IS LONG AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL OCTOBER 31'

Stating that they made a discount despite the price increases, Dengiz said, "Inflation-oriented costs increased. These increases were reflected in the room prices. This made purchasing power difficult. Prices remain high compared to other countries. At the end of 6 months, an increase above the 4 percent increase occurred compared to the previous year was expected. "We couldn't catch this, it remained almost the same as last year. Hotels, agencies, airline companies set out with acceptable discounts as much as possible. We try to attract more foreign tourists with discounts. It doesn't mean that we will finish the way we started this year. We are constantly working with our stakeholders. We say, 'It won't be over until we say it's over.' The season is long and will run until October 31st. We will try to provide discounts on prices to attract more tourists. During this period, the occupancy rate in 5-star hotels is over 70 percent, while 4-star hotels have an occupancy rate of over 50 percent. It doesn't matter if the hotels are full. It is necessary to look at how much the foreign exchange income per person is. Anyone can fill the hotel. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism had set a target of approximately $800 foreign currency return per person. I hope we will try to achieve that goal."
