THY Cancels Numerous Flights Following UAV Attack

After Iran's UAV attacks on Israel, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Jordan closed their airspace. Turkish Airlines (THY) reciprocally canceled flights to the countries that closed their airspace.

Following Iran's UAV attacks on Israel, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Jordan closed their airspace. Turkish Airlines (THY) reciprocally canceled flights to the countries that closed their airspace.

According to information obtained, due to the UAV attacks between Iran and Israel, THY canceled reciprocal flights including Istanbul-Amman, Tehran-Istanbul, Mashhad-Istanbul, Isfahan-Istanbul, Shiraz-Istanbul, Baghdad-Istanbul, Sabiha Gökçen, Istanbul-Najaf, and Istanbul-Erbil routes. Due to the closure of airspace by some countries after the attacks, Ajet's Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen-Dammam flight diverted to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Ajet's Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen-Riyadh flight diverted to Sabiha Gökçen Airport, THY's aircraft operating Istanbul-Shiraz and Istanbul Mashhad flights diverted to Erzurum, THY's Istanbul-Baghdad flight diverted to Diyarbakır, THY's cargo aircraft operating Istanbul-Dubai flight diverted to Istanbul, Ajet's Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen-Kuwait flight diverted to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, THY's Istanbul-Isfahan flight diverted to Elazığ, THY's Istanbul-Tehran flight diverted to Istanbul, THY's Istanbul-Karachi flight diverted to Istanbul, and THY's Kuala Lumpur-Istanbul flight redirected to Dubai.
