The international direct flight network continues to expand at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, operated by TAV Airports, Turkey's leading brand in airport operations.
Transavia started direct flights between Izmir and Paris-Orly. 142 passengers arrived in Izmir with the flight numbered TO3268, which was carried out by Boeing B737-800 type aircraft. Passengers were greeted with flowers at the terminal.
Transavia will operate reciprocal flights between Paris Orly and Izmir Adnan Menderes airports every Saturday and Sunday until October 28, 2023.
TAV Ege General Manager Erkan Balcı, whose views are included in the statement, said, "We are very happy to welcome the first direct flight from Paris-Orly Airport to İzmir in five years. We are working with all our strength to connect İzmir to the whole world with direct flights."
According to the information given, Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport served 1 million 942 thousand 518 passengers in the first three months of the year. From the airport, flights are organized to 39 destinations in 22 countries with 19 airlines on international lines and 20 destinations with 4 airlines on domestic lines.
