It is stated that interest in holidays abroad has increased due to the National Unity Day, which is a 3-day holiday in Russia, and the subsequent short working week.
Tour companies reported that there was a 10-15 percent increase in demand for November 4, 5 and 6 tours, including the weekend. Some companies, such as Intourist, stated that the increase was over 40 percent.
Sales will peak in mid-October
The main reason for the demand is the possibility of extending the National Unity Day holiday by adding a few days before or after it. It is also stated that the increase in the capacity of airline companies, especially abroad, encourages travel.
Experts from ANEX Tour, Coral Travel, PEGAS Touristik, Sun & Fun, Space Travel and Tez Tour state that reservations will peak in mid-October. Because by this date most Russians will have decided where to go and how much to spend.
The leader is UAE, the other is Thailand
