Turkey's first 'Coffee Cup Museum' was opened in Elazığ. 2023 cups were exhibited in the museum, which was opened on the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
Coffee Cup Museum was established by Elazığ Tourism Culture and Promotion Association (ETUDER) with the support of Elazığ Governorship and Elazığ Municipality. 2023 cups collected with donations from many provinces of Turkey were exhibited in the museum. The museum, which was established in Harput and was the first in Turkey, was opened on the 100th anniversary of the republic.
Speaking at the opening, Elazığ Governor Ömer Toraman said; ''While we were celebrating the 100th anniversary of our Republic and our state with enthusiasm, our director wanted to make a contribution in the field of culture. They created a Cup Museum. Harput has now started to become a town of museums. Our mayor has made a great effort here. With its series of museums such as the Press Museum, Music Museum and Turkish Bath Museum, it makes Harput's historical artifacts livable and usable. It also creates places that citizens can visit. ETÜDER created this museum as a contribution to this.”
ETÜDER President Ahmet Bulut said that they held a special opening for the 100th anniversary of the Republic and that they were happy. After the ribbon was cut, the Coffee Cup Museum was opened. Then, the protocol and guests toured the museum.
