Turkish Airlines has announced its traffic figures for January. THY reached a figure of 6.3 million passengers in January.

The traffic results for our company for the January 2024 period are as follows:
• The total number of passengers, which was 6.1 million in January 2023, increased by 2.7% to reach 6.3 million in the same period of 2024.
• The number of transit passengers from international to international flights was 2.3 million in January 2023, and in the same period of 2024, it increased by 0.3 million to reach 2.6 million.
• The passenger load factor in January 2024 decreased by 0.4 percentage points compared to the same period of 2023, reaching 80.3%. While the international load factor was 79.8% during the same period, the domestic load factor was 84.7%.
• Total Available Seat Kilometers (ASK) increased from 18.1 billion in January 2023 to 20 billion in the same period of 2024, representing a 10.6% increase.
• Cargo and mail carried increased by 24.8% from 119 thousand tons in January 2023 to 148.6 thousand tons in January 2024.
• The number of aircraft in the fleet reached 440 by the end of January 2024.
