According to the statement made by the embassy, academicians, representatives of non-governmental organizations, journalists, social media phenomena and chefs came together at the breakfast held at the Embassy Residence hosted by Emir Salim Yüksel, Ambassador of Kuala Lumpur.
Ambassador Yüksel pointed out that Turkish breakfast is one of the richest breakfasts in the world and stated that it is not just a meal for Turks, but a fundamental part of culture.
In the event, Turkish coffee and tea, as well as pancakes, pastries, bagels, pastrami, various cheeses and jams, were served to the guests, and videos about Turkish breakfast and cuisine were watched.
Journalist and social media phenomenon Fedtri Yahya stated that he experienced tea, coffee, bread, olives and various types of cheese for breakfast and that he loved the healthy Turkish breakfast.
Stating that his memories in Istanbul and Şanlıurfa were revived, Yahya said that with the Turkish ambiance of the event, he commemorated the ney melodies he listened to with tea in Turkey and the unique poems of Mevlana.
