While the worldwide demand for branded luxury real estate in Turkey has increased, Turkey has become an important address for international chains. An important collaboration in this field has been made recently. The projects in Sapanca and Gölköy Bodrum, developed by the real estate company Nef, entered the radar of the Kempinski Group. Both hotels and residences, which will be operational in 2026, will be operated by the Kempinski Group. With this agreement, Sapanca will have an international hotel chain for the first time.

WE ARE VERY POSITIVE FOR TURKEY

Stating that the group has 82 hotels in 36 countries and that Turkey has always been a special location for them, Kempinski Hotels Board Member and Head of Investment Development Christophe Piffaretti said, "Kempinski currently has luxury hotel and residence projects in Istanbul, Bodrum and Belek, as well as in Istanbul. He manages three independent residences in Istanbul. We announced Cesme last month. Now we are announcing Sapanca and Bodrum. Kempinski has always been a pioneer. When we entered Bodrum 20 years ago, there were no international chain hotels. All brands are now "He wants to be in Bodrum. The same will be true for Sapanca. We will add Sapanca to the international map together with Nef," he said.

Christophe Piffaretti, drawing attention to the strong recovery of the tourism sector after the pandemic, said: "Demand has never been this high. Turkey's coastal regions had a good season. We are very positive for Turkey and we will have more projects."

THERE IS 240 MILLION EURO INVESTMENT VALUE

Nef Chairman of the Board Erden Timur said that they reached an agreement with Kempinski after years of negotiations and gave the following information about the projects to be operated by Europe's oldest luxury hotel chain: "Kempinski Residences Nef Reserve Gölköy Bodrum, located on a 75-decare slope, has 106 villas. The project, which has an investment value of 240 million Euros, will begin to serve in 2026. The luxury boutique hotel included in the project will serve for 12 months. In addition to the rooms and suites, there will be 90 villas and 138 mansion apartments. Our construction has started on the project. We are planning the deliveries in 2026."
