Although the weather caused a stagnation in early bookings, the arrival of hot summer days, the closure of schools on 16 June and the increase the Eid al-Adha holiday to 9 days made tourism professionals happy, while the increase in reservations indicated that Çeşme will be full again during the holiday break.
After the 'Welcome to Summer' cocktail organized by the Çeşme Touristic Hoteliers Association (ÇESTOB), the tourism professionals from Çeşme, who finished their preparations for the season, began to wait for the holiday, which they hoped to be active.
Stating that a nice summer holiday awaits local and foreign tourists in Çeşme this season, ÇEŞTOB President Yakup Demir said, "Our holiday occupancy rates are very good. It has reached 70-80%. Election, weather and economic conditions have cast some shadows on early bookings and there is a decline, but we are looking forward to our last minute sales. Çeşme reached 80-90% occupancy in the season even on the worst days.

Gökçe Kesikçiler Buğday, Member of the Board of Directors of ÇESTOB, stated that they, as tourism professionals and hoteliers, are waiting for the season to open in Çeşme; “Now the good days will come.
