easyJet Places Major Order with Airbus

easyJet has taken a significant step to strengthen its order with the European-based aircraft manufacturer Airbus. The British airline announced that it has placed an order for a total of 157 Airbus A320neo series aircraft.

The comprehensive order includes 56 A320neo and 101 A321neo aircraft. Additionally, the company's previously placed order for 35 A320neo has been upgraded to the larger and more capacity A321neo models.

Emphasizing the importance of this flash order, easyJet CEO Johan Lundgren stated, "Not only does this comprehensive order contribute to easyJet's goal of achieving net-zero carbon travel by replacing older aircraft with more efficient models, but it also enhances our ability to seize significant opportunities by pursuing a disciplined growth strategy. This extensive order will allow easyJet to solidify its leadership at Europe's major airports and continue its close collaboration with Airbus."
