Governor Şahin: "Adrasan will offer a higher quality tourism service"

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin stated that with the upcoming initiatives, a higher quality tourism service will be provided in Adrasan.

The "2024 Adrasan Tourism Evaluation Meeting" was chaired by Governor Hulusi Şahin. In addition to Governor Şahin, the meeting held in the Governorate meeting room was attended by Kumluca District Governor Tekin Erdemir, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Dr. Candemir Zoroğlu, and other officials. Emphasizing that every effort for Adrasan will be carried out with consideration for public benefit, Governor Şahin stated during the meeting where projects that will transform the face of Adrasan were discussed: "We will always prioritize the benefit of the community. Our goal is to do things right. Let's evaluate the Adrasan issue in a positive and constructive way. When this is done, Adrasan will offer a much higher quality tourism service like our other tourism destinations. The issues we will intervene in are very simple. There won't be many changes in the field. We will set aside the boats. We will repair the road and install lighting. We will gather the vehicles in one place. We are implementing a simple management. We will also organize the activities carried out by the boatmen and monitor them. Working together with all our institutions, we will accomplish this task."

"We want easy access to the natural beauties in Adrasan."

Governor Şahin expressed that their main goal in this project is to facilitate easy access for both citizens and tourists to the natural beauties. He stated, "Our main objective in this project is to free the beach from boats. We will not engage in any commercial activities. No leasing will be allowed. Our entire effort is to clear the crowd on the beach, allowing our citizens to benefit more from our natural beauties. What good is the beauty that people cannot explore? We cannot showcase this magnificent beauty, the fantastic nature, to anyone. We need to solve these problems."

Governor Şahin pointed out that Adrasan is one of the regions with the lowest tourism income in Antalya, saying, "Adrasan has a magnificent geography. However, due to the problems caused by some businesses in this region, there has been no order established. The lack of rules here has eventually led to the unlimited consumption of resources and a negative environment where people have problems with each other. As a result, neither proper tourism can be conducted nor can businesses in the area make proper money. Therefore, we have undertaken a study on Adrasan. The goal of the study is results-oriented. In other words, we want to achieve results quickly. We will find more practical solutions to some issues."
