The European Aviation Report for the period of January 1-7, published by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol), reveals that Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe during this period with an average of 1329 daily flights.
Istanbul Airport was followed by Amsterdam Schiphol Airport with an average of 1248 daily flights and London Heathrow Airport with 1230 daily flights.
