Maden Deresi will become a tourism center

As part of the project, the Parks and Gardens Department conducted extensive work on areas posing safety risks to visitors. The safety level of the 500-meter section at the entrance of the natural area was increased. A 120-meter steel construction staircase was completed. Additionally, a 1.5-kilometer steel walkway was constructed in the following section. The project achieved a magnificent view with the observation terrace prepared at the high point of the area. With the completion of the skeletal parts of these works, 80% of the project has been completed. The work will be finished with wooden coverings on these areas.

In a statement from the Metropolitan Municipality, it was said, "We are working diligently and producing new projects to contribute to Sakarya's tourism and to make natural paradise-like areas available to our citizens. With the project nearing completion, Maden Deresi, the jewel of the city with its greenery, blue waters, and unique nature, will attain a completely new atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you soon."
