President Özer, 'The season has begun.'

The President of the Kars Tourism Association, Halit Özer, stated that there is increased activity in Kars and Sarıkamış with the beginning of the season. Özer noted that both ski tourism and the approaching trips of the Eastern Touristic Express have made regional tourism professionals hopeful. President Halit Özer said, 'We know that all tourism establishments and employees in our region are ready for the 2023/2024 tourism season. With the start of the train services on December 12, it is already possible to anticipate the activity that will take place in the region.'

Özer stated, 'With the hope of experiencing a full season, our future guests will be offered many beauties such as history, culture, flavor, art, and more. Let the 2023 and 2024 tourism season be auspicious for our city of Kars, our districts, our merchants, our tourism businesses, and the guests to come. Thanks to the grace of God, we are approaching our goal of attracting one million tourists to Kars annually.'
