Russian tourist ship docks at Amasra Port 33rd time

The cruise ship Astoria Grande from Russia, with 738 passengers and 422 crew, docked at Amasra Port for the 33rd time. Amasra Port, declared an International Permanent Sea Border Gate in 2021, has become a significant stop in maritime tourism. The 193-meter-long and 30-meter-wide Astoria Grande ship, which first hosted a cruise ship in August 2022, docked for the 33rd time. Despite the rain, some Russian tourists explored Amasra, while others participated in tours to Safranbolu in Karabük and the city center of Bartın.

The ship, anchored at Amasra Port throughout the day, is expected to depart at 22:00. It was noted that the ship will make one voyage to Amasra in December and four voyages in January. The vessel is scheduled for maintenance in February and will not operate in the region until April during the maintenance period.
