The skiing season continues at the Yurduntepe Ski Center on Mount Ilgaz, one of Turkey's winter tourism destinations, where the snow depth has reached up to 30 centimeters.

Local and foreign visitors coming to the ski center enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, and sledding among the natural beauties of Mount Ilgaz. Ski enthusiasts from Kastamonu, Çankırı, as well as Istanbul, Ankara, Samsun, Sinop, Bartın, Amasya, and Karabük were able to ski in the continuing snowfall of March.
Mehmet Engin Önder, who came to the region for vacation from Samsun, stated to AA reporter, "This is my third time coming here. Such weather, such snow, and such slopes in the middle of March were perfect for me. If the snow continues like this, we will keep skiing here until the end of March, maybe even the beginning of April."
Meral Şen, who came from Istanbul, mentioned that it takes about 5 hours to reach Ilgaz from Istanbul and said, "Being able to ski here in March is a very nice feeling."
Salim Akdelioğlu, who came from Kastamonu, explained that he visits Ilgaz every 2-3 weeks and said, "This year wasn't very enjoyable in its season, but with the snowfall in March, our faces lit up. The weather is very nice, it's snowing beautifully, very enjoyable. We invite all ski enthusiasts to Ilgaz.
