The joint collaboration between Sutochno.ru and YuMoney services reported on identifying the most budget-friendly domestic ski resorts. Experts analyzed user reservation data for the month of February and found Esto-Sadok to be the leader in the number of accommodation orders. Sheregesh ranked second, followed by Kirovsk in third place. Among the top ten most popular places were Arkhyz, Dombay holiday village, Terskol village in the Elbrus region, Gubakha, Belokurikha, Khvalynsk, and Yakhroma cities.
Yuri Kuznetsov, the owner and general manager of Sutochno.ru, mentioned, "The top six are significantly ahead. They have the most modern infrastructure, good living conditions, and service, but their prices are higher than other holiday destinations.
The most expensive rental property is in Arkhyz - averaging 10.2 thousand rubles per day. Prices have increased by 28% over the year. Expenses in Esto-Sadok are also high - 9.5 thousand rubles (a nine percent increase over the year). Comparable living costs in Yakhroma are 9.1 thousand rubles (a four percent increase), Sheregesh - 8.6 thousand rubles (a 30 percent increase). In Dombay and Terskol, it is slightly over seven thousand rubles, which is ten percent and 13 percent higher than last year's figures.
The cheapest average daily rental is in Gubakha (2.5 thousand rubles per day), Belokurikha (3.4 thousand rubles), Khvalynsk (4.2 thousand rubles), and Kirovsk (five thousand rubles).
Overall, the average cost of daily rentals at ski resorts in February increased by 18% compared to the previous year, reaching 7.7 thousand rubles.
YuMoney experts point out an increased demand for ski holidays. Moreover, between December 1 and January 24, 2024, the turnover of payments at holiday homes and sanatoriums near ski resorts increased by 59% compared to the same period last year. The average bill increased by 11%, reaching 10.4 thousand rubles. During the same period, hotel reservations increased by 41% compared to the previous year.
