The castle from the Hellenistic Age awaits attention

Çörduk Castle, located on the Tokat-Sivas Highway, is in danger of extinction due to lack of interest and neglect.
Located within the borders of Çörduk village of Tokat, Çörduk Castle from the Hellenistic period defies time. The castle, located on the Tokat-Sivas Highway, is estimated to be about 2,000 years old. The castle, which has hosted many civilizations, is now abandoned to solitude. There are walls in the southern part of the castle, which is located in a narrow strait. There are 2 water cisterns and tunnels in the castle. The rock tombs in the castle indicate that the castle was built in the Hellenistic period.

Buğra Günderçoban stated that the castle was neglected and said, "This is Çörduk Castle on the Sivas-Tokat Highway. It is a very old castle historically, it is said to be from the Hellenistic period. I couldn't get to the top, but it is said that there are two water cisterns and two rock graveyards inside. I did not know this castle, I noticed it during my nature trips. This castle seems to have been destined for its fate. It caught my attention on the way, so I came here and wanted to take a look.
As far as I know, the importance of this castle allows it to control the entrances to the Dazimentis Plain from the south. This castle, which was built on a narrow strait, supports this in this case. I know it was built to protect Kaz Ova as it is known today."
