"A good time for Turkish-made films to reveal themselves"
Regarding the international potential of Turkish TV series and films, Zakharchenko said, "This is a good time for Turkish productions to reveal themselves. Cannes or any festival are suitable places for Turkish productions to show themselves. There is an international interest in Turkish productions. I'm not talking about Cannes, because we try to make our selections as comprehensive as possible. But if we look at the international market, the representation of Turkish productions in this market is important."
Zakharchenko's thoughts on Turkish TV series and films, "There was a trend started by new Turkish directors about 10 years ago, but this trend has lost some of its influence in recent years. I think a new generation of filmmakers needs to produce productions to create a new trend."
