Tourism Season Starts with Icebreaker Festival in St. Petersburg

Visit Petersburg, the official tourism portal of St. Petersburg, announced the start of the tourist season with the organization of the Icebreaker Festival. Within the scope of the festival, visitors can ride the icebreakers and tour inside and visit themed exhibitions. The city, which was visited by 8 million tourists last year, is in a very important position in terms of tourism.

Three icebreakers named Vladivostok, Captain Zarubin and Captain Sorokin participated in the 3-day festival. Within the scope of the festival, visitors can get on the icebreakers and tour inside, watch the magnificent performance of tugboats in the waters of the Neva River, and visit themed exhibitions.

According to the St. Petersburg administration, 8 million tourists visited the city last year.
